Release notes for GStreamer Editing Services 1.8.3

The GStreamer team is proud to announce the third bugfix release in the stable 1.8 release series of your favourite cross-platform multimedia framework!

This release only contains bugfixes and it is safe to update from 1.8.x. For a full list of bugfixes see Bugzilla.

Bugs fixed in this release

  • 766449 : ges: fix various leaks with usage of ges_timeline_element_lookup_child
  • 766450 : video-track: don't leak restriction caps in _sync_capsfilter_with_track
  • 769193 : [REGRESSION] in NLE we are decoding both audio and video streams even if the we only care about one of those
  • 770101 : ges-track-element: typos in control_binding_removed signal declaration
