Release notes for GStreamer Editing Services 1.5.91

The GStreamer team is pleased to announce the second release candidate for the stable 1.6 release series. The 1.6 release series is adding new features on top of the 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 series and is part of the API and ABI-stable 1.x release series of the GStreamer Editing Services. The final 1.6.0 release is planned in the next few days unless any major bugs are found.

Binaries for Android, iOS, Mac OS X and Windows will be provided separately by the GStreamer project.

    Bugs fixed in this release

    • 753806 : [REGRESSION] aggregator: Default to " zero " start time selection mode as documented broke several GES Validate tests
    • 754783 : ges-launch: crash when argument is invalid
    • 754858 : ges-launch: leakage of GError
    • 754867 : timeline,nleobject,nlecomposition: leakage of pad and hashtable reference when disposing
    • 754893 : nle: Segment base time accumulation is broken fixing videoaggregator segment handling
    • 755012 : GES timeline playback stops after playing a clip with an effect containing the pitch plugin
